WALK FOR LIVES
This Is Bigger Than Politics
The overdose and fentanyl poisoning epidemic does not care whether you are a Republican, Democrat, Independent, or have no political affiliation at all.
It does not discriminate.
It affects mothers and fathers. Sons and daughters. Brothers and sisters. Friends, neighbors, and entire communities.
That is why preventing overdose deaths must always be a bipartisan mission.
Saving a life should never be political.
A community WALK FOR LIVES brings us together to remember those we have lost, embrace the families and friends left behind, educate our communities, reduce stigma, and take meaningful action to prevent the next tragedy.
I am deeply proud to serve as a National Ambassador for WALK FOR LIVES in South Florida. For my family and me, this mission is personal. We know the devastation of losing loved ones to overdose and fentanyl poisoning, and those losses drive everything we do through The Robin Foundation.
But WALK FOR LIVES cannot be just one day.
The Robin Foundation pledges to continue spreading a message of hope, understanding, education, compassion, and action throughout our community.
We will continue standing beside grieving families.
We will continue educating our communities and distributing lifesaving naloxone.
We will continue working with elected officials from both parties, law enforcement, first responders, healthcare professionals, community organizations, schools, universities, faith leaders, businesses, and community advocates.
Because this crisis is bigger than any one organization.
It is bigger than any political party.
And it will take all of us working together to save lives.
We cannot bring back those we have lost. But we can honor their lives by doing everything possible to save the next one.
Walk with us. Stand with us. Remember with us.
