Chris Cavallo

Chris Cavallo is a South Florida entrepreneur known for various accomplishments in the Security and Investigations industry. He founded The Robin Foundation with his daughter Cristina as a promise to his wife, Robin and daughter, Stefanie prior to their passing. Through his involvement and the support of others, he is committed to offering help and encouragement to individuals and families affected by substance use and overdose

Cristina Cavallo
MCAP, ICADC

Cristina is an MCAP-credentialed professional whose background includes substance-use education, case management, community outreach, and prevention-focused work. At The Robin Foundation, she leads overdose-prevention education and community outreach initiatives.

Debbie Anne Sommer
MSN, RN, CCM

Debbie Sommer is a nurse executive with over 25 years of leadership in the Veterans Health Administration, specializing in quality improvement, patient safety, and nursing administration. She has led system-wide initiatives in risk management, regulatory compliance, and high reliability practices, earning top ratings from oversight bodies. A Certified Case Manager, TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer, and Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, Debbie has also served in interim executive roles and national VA committees.

Patty Matsen

Raised in Honolulu Hawaii Patty attended Atlantic Christian college in Wilson NC where she was a member of tri sigma sorority. She  was a stay at home mom and have been with Robin Foundation since 2024. She has lived experience with substance use and homelessness, and she is passionate about giving back. known for her caring nature and strong commitment to helping others in my community, especially people and families affected by substance use and overdose.

Tawana Daniel

With over 25 years of experience in education, Tawana has dedicated her career to shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning. As a published children’s author, she extends her passion beyond the classroom, creating stories that inspire, educate, and empower youth. In addition to her work in education and literature, she has built a successful career in real estate, helping individuals and families find not just houses, but homes.

Volunteer Coordinator

Loretta Crews Nido

Loretta Crews Nido  is a retired attorney who brings her legal experience and commitment to public service to her role as Community Coordinator for The Robin Foundation. She helps build relationships with community leaders, government officials, and legislators to support the Foundation’s overdose-prevention efforts, expand naloxone access, and promote the placement of Overdose Emergency Cabinets in public locations.
