Broward 2023 Recovery Month

Our co-founder, Chris Cavallo, was awarded the Family Champion of the year at this year’s event. It was a day filled with music, dance, food, and a time to celebrate all award recipients.

September is recognized as Recovery Month, and The Robin Foundation joined organizations across Broward County to provide overdose-prevention education, distribute Narcan, and help community members learn how to respond to an overdose emergency.

Our volunteers distributed 340 free boxes of Narcan, shared overdose-prevention information, and demonstrated how to administer Narcan during an overdose emergency.
